Space Management provides analytical and resource management that supports campus decision-making and overall planning. Space Management is an integral part of Capital Development which resides in the Office of Budget & Planning.

UCSB uses Facilities Link to manage our space inventory. The space inventory database is used to track the assignment, location, and utilization of space. The information obtained from the database is used by campus departments for planning and analysis endeavors as well as the Office of Budget & Planning to report to state and federal agencies. 

Responsibilities include:
