Community engagement is critical to the success of the Shoreline Adaptation Project and UCSB’s sea level rise adaptation strategy. The project will hold public meetings, engage with local Tribal community representatives, use social media, and conduct other activities to make sure that the project is based on community understanding and considers the input and concerns of students, faculty, staff, and the general public.

Public Meetings

The upcoming public meeting will be held in the Auditorium (Room 1302) at the Marine Science Building on December 4, 2025 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Follow us on Instagram @ucsb_ocpc for event information.
